Don’t let Pennsylvania drain beautiful High Point Lake and spend over $15 million of taxpayer money for an unnecessary dam replacement project!
Our group of fishermen, boaters, and local landowners was formed in reaction to a proposed dam repair project slated to begin as early as 2025.
We find the project to be expensive to the taxpayer, unnecessary for the watershed, and, if begun, would severely harm the abundant fish and wildlife of the area.
The dam project would involve an unsightly dewatering of the lake which could last for years.
It is indisputable that a multi-year dewatering of the Lake would destroy the substantial mature existing fishery, and the wildlife and bird habitat for years to come.
